This O’Reilly Concrete Prestressed Wall Project was completed recently  in Dunleer, Co. Louth, a storage building for warehousing food stuffs.

We installed circa 1,990m2 of 180mm Prestressed Concrete Walls.

This project was supplied using our lower carbon mix prestressed walls incorporating Ecocem GGBS. Around 34 tonnes of CO2 were saved…which is the equivalent of 838 trees growing for 10 years.

We are very excited to announce that we have been contracted by London Building Company to design, manufacture and build the precast frame for the South Site building as featured above.  This building is part of an exciting apartment development, Mosaic Place, in the heart of Purley, South London.

The full development Mosaic Place, is a 11,354 sqm mixed-use development and has been designed to create a new civic identity at the centre of Purley in South London.  The scheme will provide 220 homes, 39 of which are affordable and will include community facilities.

Four Residential Developments – New Sites – across Hounslow, London.

O’Reilly Concrete are very pleased to have been contracted by Glenman Corporation Ltd to manufacture, supply and fit, precast concrete floors, stairs and balconies across four different residential sites to provide 48 homes in the borough of Hounslow, London.

We recently commenced fitting on Swan Road, with 3 more sites to commence – in total comprising of 48 affordable homes in Princes Road, Hatchett Road, Swan Road and Watermead Estate.

The scheme has been designed to a high standard with all associated roadways and superb landscaping, and will provide affordable rent homes for the residents of the area. We look forward to sharing progress images from each site during the various project stages.

O’Reilly Precast new facility represents a massive investment for the O’Reilly Group in our Precast division and has dramatically increased our current precast production capabilities for both the Irish & UK markets.

The production plant, houses a new OLMET Carousel production plant and a new concrete batching facility, within the 4000m2 factory.

The plant will also be served well with routes to market including road, rail and sea, available to us at the new facility.

We are very proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for “International Project of the Year 2019. The project is the Heathrow T2 Hilton Hotel Project.  This years Irish Construction Industry Awards taking place this June in Citywest, Dublin.

The sixth Irish Construction Industry Awards celebrates the best of Irish construction and design. With a €23 billion construction spend estimated in 2019, the industry is experiencing  significant growth. The awards will celebrate those organisations, teams and individuals who are meeting the demand for new buildings and infrastructure projects to support future economic growth and social and spatial planning.

We are delighted that the Heathrow T2 Hilton Hotel Project has been shortlisted alongside the Great Scotland Yard Hotel, London and The Machrie Hotel, Ilsay.

Some brilliant progress pictures of The Stage in Shoreditch which is a £750m mixed-use development in Shoreditch on the site of Shakespeare’s former Curtain Theatre. The development will consist of a 37 storey tower, shops, restaurants and office buildings. There will be 275,000 sq. ft of office space, 412 apartments for private sale and 400,000 sq. ft of mixed use space.

O’Reilly Concrete are supplying the specifically designed 85N self-compacting concrete. The increased strength of this concrete is achieved using micro-silica which is adding to the recipe during the batching process. This unique recipe produces an extremely high standard of finish.This increased strength is due to the building being one of the tallest, multi-story buildings in the heart of London.

O’Reilly Concrete are extremely proud to manufacture and design the precast concrete columns for this high-profile and prestigious job. We are also thrilled to be working with O’Shea who are one of the largest privately-owned construction and property development companies in London and the South East.

The Grainger PLC development will consist of a total of 163 homes with 104-1,2, and 3 bed apartments as well as 59 rental homes accompanied with a gym, roof terraces and play area for children.
O’Reilly Concrete are thrilled to be supplying the Precast Columns and Precast Walls for the project. The main contractor for the job is Ant Yapı with Modebest providing the Engineering. Work is scheduled to be completed by Summer, 2020.

Some great progress pictures of our Lidl Ireland in Antrim which commenced on November 19th, 2018. O’Reilly Concrete supplied and fitted the Structural Frame in just 11 days as seen in the pictures below. The main Contractor for the development was FORRME with STS Group: Specialist Technical Services providing the Engineering. Part of the O’Reilly Group-Barleystone Paving also supplied the paving for the project with our Larchfield Damson and Birch.

O’Devaney Gardens-Arran Quay Dublin

Careys Building and Civil Engineering is currently building 56 new social housing properties at the O’Devaney Gardens redevelopment project in Dublin, Ireland. Originally conceived in 2008 as a project to regenerate a 1950’s flat complex, this redevelopment scheme was delayed for 10 years.

Once completed, the overall O’Devaney Gardens scheme will provide 585 new homes – 30% earmarked for social homes and 20% for affordable housing.

After a decade-long postponement, ground was finally broken last summer on this project. O’Reilly Concrete are delighted to be supplying and fitting the Precast Floors for the project. We look forward to bringing you some progress pictures in due course.
